Thank you Zumba family... for a year I will never forget. Thank you for dancing with me through the chaos, the anxiety, and the anger. Thank you for choosing Zumba to be your outlet. It has been a joy to take this journey with you, and your smiles truly made a difference. If you can, take a moment tomorrow before we welcome the new year to breathe and be present. I am going into this year more aware... of my words, my actions, and what is truly important to my family and myse...lf. This year has not only been about Covid, our world has been in crisis for a long time but finally our eyes and ears are open. I hope we can appreciate life and each other so much more now. I am excited for what 2021 holds and the new lessons we will learn and I’m even more excited to be able to continue dancing with you all... on zoom and hopefully in person. Zumba family! Check out the Christmas schedule for the next few weeks. There has been a slight change so please see below. I announced last week that I would be teaching December 23rd however I promised my daughters some special family time. Luckily, my sweet Roya caught my mistake in time and was very adamant that I would have to change my Zumba schedule to keep my Christmas promise. Her wish is my command but don’t worry Denise will the teaching the Wednesday! My LAST C...LASS before Christmas will be Monday December 21st at 6:00pm. This is the class I’m subbing for Janet but this will also be my Zumba Holiday Celebration! Please spread the word. The month of December is different for everyone. For many, it’s their favorite time of the year filled with love and joy. However, not everyone celebrates Christmas and for others this time of year is extremely hard and emotional. However you feel this season, please know that I see you and am sending love. I hope Zumba can be an outlet and the connection over zoom can bring some joy to your day. **TEACHER APPRECIATION ZUMBA CLASS** Zumba Family, Please join me next Wednesday November 25th at 6:00pm on Zoom to thank our teachers, Education Assistants and School staff for their hard work and dedication to our children during these crazy times. From the start of this pandemic, they have gone above and beyond to teach...moving to online learning and then returning to the classroom. Even though many were worried about the new protocols and their own health, they returne...d in September with big smiles under those masks and shields. I want to thank the teachers that have been dancing with me for years and also invite new teachers who may need a stress release and a little love. A class dedicated to them as a reminder of how amazing they are. I would love to offer this class FREE to any teachers, EA and school staff as my THANK YOU! And YES, EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO DANCE!!! COVID UPDATE: Zumba family, due to the rising number of Covid cases and new mandates we will be cancelling all indoor in-person Zumba classes for the next two weeks. I am extremely sad as seeing your smiles in person was absolutely amazing, however your safety is my top priority. All participants registered for Monday, November 9th at Kennedy Hall will be receiving a refund and email tomorrow. If you have an questions please feel free to message me. ... I am extremely HAPPY to be able to continue my classes on ZOOM. It may not be the same but it is still so important that we connect and dance together. If you know anyone who may be interested please spread the word (current schedule Monday’s 10am and Wednesday’s 6pm on zoom) Thank you so much for the constant love and support...
