If you have a variable rate mortgage, you've seen a massive 1.5% drop in rates over the last 2 months. A great strategy to gain some ground on your mortgage is by keeping your payment the same as it was before rates dropped. 100% of that increased payment will towards paying down your mortgage balance, so you'll gain a lot of ground all by making a payment you were already used to.
