At first I was flippant about it, and then this sass pot came around the corner and I thought I don’t want her to be labelled bossy or controlling like her mother is because she knows what she wants/needs/likes. What a difference a year makes. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Quarantine kicked our A$$. We 1000% did not do enough school work, I’m quite sure I allowed to much screen time, but here we are on his very last day of kindergarten soaking up the rays up north, and enjoying the outdoors. He astounds me every day with his quick mind and kind heart ( & smart mouth ). As brutal as an experience this whole thing has been, it is true what they say We never would have gotten to spend this time together otherwise. Here’s hoping I never have to attempt homeschooling you ever again
