Employee Spotlight : Chloe Traviss Chloe is a style consultant at Budget Blinds with many years of interior design experience. She started her design career with a sub-specialty in kitchens and home staging. Chloe has experience working on both new construction as well as renovations of all sizes. Chloe grew up in and lives in Campbell River with her husband, daughter, and their new puppy. In her free time you can find Chloe at the ocean or exploring the beautiful outdoors Vancouver Island has to offer. Being a window coverings installer is smart. Working out of the rain and hot sun, you don’t have to schlep boards, climb roofs or mow lawns all day. Instead, you get to meet new people and enjoy doing something truly different every day. This is not a construction job per say but you will use a wide array of tools and you get to work with your hands. You truly feel rewarded with your work at the end of every day. Installing window coverings is harder than people think. You need excellent problem solving skills as most openings aren’t square, all mounting surfaces are not equal and every type of window covering is installed differently. Finding the best solution for the job requires thought and attention to detail. You will be required to work hard, work quickly and think critically.
