Halloween parade Halloween is one of the most exciting and fun events of the year and Covid-19 was not going to stop us from celebrating it. To celebrate in safe and healthy way, teachers at CEFA Crestwood organized a Halloween parade in which children came in their Halloween costume and walked around the center to do trick or treat. Everyone practiced social distancing and took turns to receive their goodies form other classroom friends and teachers. It was a very fun filled day.

Nothing can stop us from having fun- As we are following the social distancing to keep ourselves and others safe, we were not able to go to the fields but teachers at CEFA Crestwood planned to celebrate Pumpkin patch in our school's playground instead. Children did many craft and art activities that teachers used as part of playground's decoration. Parents participated in the event and took turns to join their child to pick a pumpkin. It was a fun day for all families and teachers in our center.

Thanksgiving under the pandemic sparked new opportunity for everyone to be more grateful and to cherish the time spent with loved ones. It is a great time for us to reflect and to live our life to the fullest. We hope that everyday is like a Thanksgiving holiday, that we continue to share our gratitude to people around us, and to support each other under this new normal.

June is a farewll month for all our graduates at CEFA Crestwood. Thanks to the thouhtful planning of our staff and advanced technology, we have successfully connected our class of 2020 with our JK3 teachers depsite the COVID restrictions. We were excited to see the grads dressed in the yellow gowns and hats at school under health and safety guideline, and big thanks to our photographer, Kirsten for making this photo day a memoriable one. Our first ever virtual graduation cer...emony was emotional and delightful, we were all pleased to take part in this graduation celebration and witness the growth of all students. As our Executive Director, Ms. Sukhi had said in her speech, "this year is special because it's teaching us how important it is to be with our loved ones...and learning what matter in our lives. So this is a life lesson I hope we can move forward with positivity." We wish our graduates all the best in their kindergarten and we will miss you dearly! See more
