NO VISITOR POLICY: Effective Immediately Cougar Helicopters has initiated a NO VISITOR POLICY at its facilities: - Passenger departure and arrival areas will be available only to passengers and will be closed to the general public. Family members or other individuals are not permitted inside the Arrivals area while waiting for passengers. - Non-commercial related visitors will not be permitted access to our facilities.

As news and updates related to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus continue, Cougar Helicopters remains in close contact with Operator Customers and medical authorities and consultants such as AOMS for advice that might impact offshore passenger transportation. We continue to rely on traveling passengers, and Cougar staff, to report or disclose possible exposure either through travel to High-risk areas or Contact/Close Proximity with individuals who may have been exposed to... the virus. At this time no specific risk or threat has been identified for our region that would necessitate changes to the current offshore travel procedures. Cougar Helicopters Inc. has been hosting a series of Safety Speaker Dinners since 2015. The initiative was established to bring together business and industry, regulators, associations and community leaders to promote collaboration and information sharing as it relates to safety. The 9th dinner in the series welcomed Bristow Group Keisha Rogers, Global Lead Safety Auditor and James Stottlemyer, Director of Safety (Americas) as they presented on Safety Oversight. Cougar Helicopters Inc. Honored by Sikorsky: At the Helicopter Association International #HeliExpo2020 in Anaheim, California, Sikorsky a Lockheed Martin company, recognized three helicopter companies for their life-saving mission capability using the S-92 SAR helicopter. In its press release, Sikorsky stated: "Cougar Helicopters, the first rotorcraft company in North America to utilize the S-92 in a SAR capacity, flew more than 350 SAR sorties this year, totaling nearly 570 flight hours. Cougar has been the recipient of 35 Sikorsky Winged-S Rescue Awards since 2008 and boasts a 20-minute SAR response time in the northeastern Atlantic."

With the reopening of St. John's International Airport following the record-breaking snowstorm, Cougar Helicopters resumed its offshore flights this morning. Huge thank you to Cougar crews who maintained SAR and Medevac coverage during the state of emergency.

Our hearts and prayers are with the family of the Late John Crosbie as he was laid to rest today. Thank you for your years of service to the people and province of Newfoundland & Labrador and to Canada as a whole. His legacy will live on. RIP. #JohnCrosbie
