Our community health partners, The Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit and the Eastern Ontario Health Unit, have indicated this evening that parents should use the provincial screening tool that was updated today. If your child passes the screening they can attend school, even if they are waiting for test results. http://ow.ly/Nai350BHhWl

Our grade 2/3 students made their way to our garden to learn about the life system of plants. Students were allowed to take pumpkin seeds to plant at home. The junior students had some mask-free time outside and enjoyed playing soccer, climbing, and making forts. #ucdsb #outdoorlearning #dcstheplacetobee
Not all learning happens within four walls. This week, our youngest learners had some great play time in their outdoor classroom, while our grade 1/2 class ventured outside to make bug ‘hotels’ for science class. They were thrilled when they checked on their hotels the next day to see they had some guests! #ucdsb #outdoorlearning #dcstheplacetobee

Working with our local health units & families will be an important part of keeping our students safe. Please read the parent/guardian letter from the Eastern Ontario Health Unit and The Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit. It has some helpful info on what families can do to keep their child safe, what to do if someone becomes ill or tests positive at school, and who to call with questions: https://bit.ly/2FwVGH0.
