ESHC will be cancelling all practices starting from today (November 26th) to December 12th as mandated by Alberta Health Services and the Government of Alberta in their announcement of rising COVID-19 cases this week. We are striving to ensure all members are safe and enjoy as much of the 2020-21 season as we can under the unfortunate circumstances. Please be patient and kind as we move forward with these new regulations to create an enjoyable experience for all during this difficult time in our lives. ESHC has developed a COVID preparedness plan for our in-person ice practices that are starting this weekend and a short summary of what to expect. FIRST ICE TIMES ... - Saturday September 12, 2020 from 5:15 pm 6:45 pm at Leduc Recreation Centre - Thursday September 17, 2020 from 7:30 pm 9:00 pm at The Meadows Recreation Centre 24 HOURS BEFORE ATTENDING PRACTICE, PLEASE COMPLETE: 1. Your online ESHC Registration Form 2. Indicate you are attending practice on TeamSnap AT TIME OR DAY OF PRACTICE: 1. Complete TeamSnap Health Check REMINDER, you will only be able to enter / arrive at the arena 15-30 minutes BEFORE practice ONLY. The Meadows Recreation Centre (as per City of Edmonton) is allowing us access to dressing rooms 15 minutes BEFORE and AFTER the ice time ONLY with no access to shower facilities. The Leduc Recreation Centre (as per City of Leduc) is allowing us access to dressing rooms 30 minutes BEFORE and AFTER the ice time ONLY. As such, we advise all players wear as much gear as you can to the arena to minimize the amount of time needed in the dressing room. Social distancing is enforced within dressing rooms at all times. A face mask is required when you are within the facility and within the dressing room. Masks are allows to be taken off, only when ready to enter onto the ice as they should not be worn when doing intense activity (such as sledge hockey). Avoid gathering, congregating or lingering at any point within the facility or dressing rooms. REGISTRATION DAY Check in at the registration table to confirm registration and sign forms. You must show your completed TeamSnap Health Check screen to Axandra (Leduc) or Brooke (Edmonton) before entering the dressing room.
