So wear your masks, keep our community safe, and be strong like our ancestors......(this is a great story below)
The Harriston and Clifford Salute a Veteran banners have been arranged for the first time into a slide show video. There are ninety seven veteran banners in alphabetical order. It is approximately eleven minutes long with music, beginning with Harriston’s seventy veteran banners and concludes with twenty-seven Clifford veteran banners. The project began in October 2014 and this video is being released to coincide with Legion Week. Hope you enjoy and share in honouring our heros and your loved ones https://apc01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/
Please be advised that because of the Covid-19 virus the Harriston Library has been closed. With the domino effect that means the John Webb Historical Society Room is also closed, and the recent posters have been removed since the April 26th presentation with Bonnie Sitter and the Farmerettes has also been cancelled. We will let you know when things get back to normal
Arranging displays seems to be one of the things our group does best. Check out the latest one downtown (Reica's Hairstyling window)

To you it may have been only a park for the past five decades, but for many others it was an integral part of their growing up years. Besides the history captured below, check the exhibit in the display window next time you go into the Post Office.
The interest in Beehive Park is increasing
The following (picture and note) was forwarded to us Does anyone have any information or recognize this girl? Hi. I have a photo that was taken by Copland in Harriston, and I don't know who had given it to me, and who it might be. My only guess is that it might be from the Nelson family who were in Owen Sound. Do you think you could post it on your site to see if anyone might recognize this girl? Thanks. Rob Wakelin, Brooklin, ON.
