Our nurse leaders hear SO much wonderful feedback about the nursing team each day and recently, we decided to send out a patient survey, to all patients, in the hopes of really capturing some of the more specific ways that the HealthLink Outreach nurses are affecting the lives of those they visit. We were not surprised to hear that the nursing team is loved (because we think they are pretty incredible, too ), however, we were blown away by the honest and kind words outlinin...g the profound impacts they are having on people's lives, right here in our own community. Please share a little about how your HealthLink Nurse(s) add to your day: "They give me peace of mind. It makes me feel better and less anxious!" "Without the aid of the nurses at HealthLink, I would not be able to put on my compression stockings or to shower and bathe myself." 2. Is there a specific HealthLink Nurse that you would like to celebrate? Please tell us a little bit about this individual and your experience(s) with them: "All of them. They are all polite, professional, caring, and compassionate." "All in all they were all helpful at this difficult and trying time in my life. I am grateful for their dedication. I did enjoy the conversation and caring attitude." 3. How has the HealthLink Outreach program improved your day-to-day? "Yes, definitely!" "Pretty good! It causes me to get up and get ready for them. Knowing I will take meds properly. I look forward to them coming. Great team! Thank you!!" "Their care made me want to get up and face the day :)" 4. On Thursday, May 28th and Friday, May 29th we distributed "Thank you" gifts to paramedics, throughout the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland, in celebration of #paramedicservicesweek.
