TO THE RESCUE! After attempting to sand and refinish this engineered wood floor, the owner contacted me to try and rectify the damaged caused by an unskilled contractor. The wood veneer had been sanded through to the plywood base in patches, other areas had the original aluminum oxide finish. The entire floor had chatter, dips and humps common when using rental machines with no training. I used all my experience on this project and managed to save the floor. Finished with a custom stain and durable water based coating system.
