Please explain to me why my dance studio is closed? Purple is elementary schools, although no more information is given, I assume most of these cases are asympt...omatic. Yellow is other recreation not to be confused with fitness as this is weddings, gatherings, etc. Blue is retail cases but assume this is only when between employees as there is no way to tell if transferred to a customer. Pink is high school cases. Green is recreational fitness (this is where dance studios would be included with every children's activity, sport, etc). When someone figures out why we are closing youth activities, please let me know. Hi everyone... this post is really hard and comes with a very heavy heart. After doing what I love for the past 35 years I have decided to retire and close the studio as of May 14th. Covid has literally knocked the sail out of my wings and all my savings. To top things off, my lease was up in May for the studio and my landlord has decided to go in a different direction essentially leaving me homeless. Tori Trice and I have had many discussions and we both feel it’s her time t...o shine. She is one of the most talented choreographers and teachers to ever come out of KVG and we all know I’ve had a lot lol!! I have full confidence in her taking this team and all our students forward in a positive,caring and motivational way. She’s more than ready to open her own studio and move you all to the next level. She will post on here all the amazing, exciting stuff she has in store for you guys. It’s been a super difficult last 5 years for me and I certainly didn’t want to go out this way but Covid has it’s own agenda. I honestly can’t put into words all the love, understanding and support you’ve given me over the years. You were there for me in some dark times and some amazing ones. My only hope is that I made a bit of a difference in your lives. Gave you a place to feel safe and free to express who you are. Anyone that has pursued a professional dance career started out in a local dance studio! Our Health unit needs to provide guidance that our children’s dance studio’s are not fitness or exercise classes. Good afternoon everybody, We have created a private group for all of our students and parents with information about how we are running our classes during the lockdown. 2020 was a tough year for all of us but we are so grateful and still in need of your continued support moving into 2021 We love our studio and will continue to offer classes and the best dance education moving forward.
