Wow, thank you to the Royal Canadian Geographical Society! My hike this summer, the Exeter Lake Esker Hike, has been selected as their 2020 Expedition of the Ye...ar! And thanks also to Mountain Equipment Coop, the official outfitter of RCGS expeditions. Thanks also to those that supported me in the application process: Mike Mitchell at the Prince of Whales Northern Heritage Museum in Yellowknife, Cabin Radio's Ollie Williams, local geologist Kumari Karunaratne, Grayson Bilak at Carleton University, previous RCGS expedition member Dave Green, and most importantly my spouse Leanne Robinson. Somehow she agreed to let me do this hike and leave her as a single parent of twp energetic boys for 45 days.
