Please join us in thanking our Volunteer of the Month Caroline for her hard work at the cafe!! Caroline started volunteering at Mad Catter Café in June after visiting us regularly. She quickly impressed us with her initiative - during one of her first shifts we even found her scrubbing the walls with a Magic Eraser! Caroline loves all of our resident cats, and quickly makes friends with even our more sassy purrsonalities. She always makes sure that our customers and cats receive plenty of care and attention! Caroline also takes lovely candid pictures of the kitties that we share on social media. Thank you Caroline!

Meet Miranda! Miranda is a gorgeous cat with an almost fox-like appearance. She’s gentle and quiet, but when she hears the treat bag she’ll come running and quietly watch with her beautiful big eyes as she waits her turn for a snack! Miranda loves to nap in our wall beds, but she doesn’t mind being woken up for some pets and will purr/make mini biscuits when she’s feeling comfortable. Miranda lovingly raised her only surviving kitten Morgan, who has already been adopted, and... now she’s ready to enjoy a carefree life. At just under 2 years old, she's curious and likes to play with catnip toys and laser pointers! Miranda is nervous in new surroundings and with other cats and would probably prefer to be an only cat or even the company of a gentle easy-going companion. Miranda is currently our longest resident at the café, having joined us in August, and we just know she’s going to blossom into a wonderful companion once she finds the right family to dote on her! If you or someone you know would like to meet this beautiful girl, please consider stopping by our lounge at 124 Duckworth Street. We promise you won't regret it.
