2021 Mountain View County Community Funding Grants are now available. Couple of changes this year the Playground Grant program has been rolled in with the Rural Community Hall Grant program and the Ag Related Grant program has been placed under the auspices of the Rural Community Grant program. Minister Schweitzer will be joined by: Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Chief Medical Officer of Health Martin Long, MLA, Parliamentary Secretary for Small Business and Tourism They will answer your questions about the new restrictions, the spread of COVID-19 and talk about ways that you can operate safely, and help limit the spread, keeping Albertans safe. Alberta Health Services has moved Mountain View County onto the "COVID-19 Watch List" as cases in the local area have exceeded their threshold of 50 active cases per 100,000 people. Currently, there is 15 active cases in our area. Although Mountain View County offices remain open to serve the public, while Mountain View County remains on the "Watch List", we are encouraging residents to: 1) Utilize virtual formats to meet with staff whenever possible and to limit in person me...etings in the office. Mountain View County has a variety of options to serve residents virtually including phone, email or ZOOM meeting software. 2) For residents that need to attend the County Office, the use of masks and social distancing is strongly encouraged.
