Advance notice for all Norfolk ArtsCo members: We will be having our annual show at the Waterford Old Town hall in the spring. It was decided to call it "Primavera". The dates for it are May 12 - June 16, 2016 Opening Reception/Preview Saturday, May 14, 2-4 pm... Primavera means "first green" regarding the end of winter, in old Italian, and in new Italian, "Spring". It also means, in old Italian "first truth or truth first", Prima vera . New Italian "vera" also means - real. (Thanks to Ernie for this information!) This theme can embrace many ideas. Plan ahead for this, & mark your calendar so you don't miss out!! This is NOT a juried show. You just need to be a member of Norfolk ArtsCo to take part. We'll be sending out a reminder closer to the date with further instructions. This collection was donated to Norfolk ArtsCo from Keith Jones to raise funds for our projects! Some frames are dated, but the art is all in good condition. Elsie kept all records, & purchase prices are on the back of most, but we won't share that as it may influence auction prices! All measurements are of the outside of the frame, not the artwork itself. Please share this with friends who may be interested. To bid, please use 'comment' on specific photo of art. Norfolk... ArtsCo will put a minimum/start bid price on some pieces. Silent Auction closes December 13 at midnight. (Terms & conditions subject to change) After notification, it is the winning bidder's responsibility to contact us through private message at Norfolk ArtsCo on Facebook by midnight Dec. 15, 2015, with their email & phone # so we can make arrangements to accept payment & arrange delivery asap.
