Space Engine Systems (SES) Canada in Aerospace America-Year-In-Review under Propulsion-High Speed Air Breathing Propulsion. SES is the lowest cost to LEO at $ 950/kg. Read the aiaa.org article. https://aerospaceamerica.aiaa.org//canada-china-europe-an/
SES's patent pending air breathing engine uses multiple staged heat exchangers including high heat capability custom designed magnesium alloy. The HX removes in excess of 10.4 MW within approximately 8.5 milliseconds. It is the lightest and the most efficient heat exchanger. We are setting up additional ground and launch test facilities in Florida, USA and Cornwall, UK. Our experimental vehicle body uses off the shelf modified supersonic fighter jet to accommodate both DASS G...N1 air breathing engines and off the shelf tested and proven rocket engine supplied by major rocket companies. We always follow the principle of keeping it simple and never reinvent the wheel. In the 1st phase launch trial the vehicle subject to obtaining launch permits will launch to around 32 kms above Mach 5 (hypersonic). The off the shelf rocket engine will then kick in and take it to LEO. It is a 100 % reusable vehicle. The vehicle body also uses transpiration cooling. Basically the vehicle will perspire. The heat shield used for re-entry is a proven and tested system. Our aim is to bring the cost to LEO below $950/kg. Up to LEO we are just the lowest cost transportation company for hire. Our main focus is the Lunar Mission. https://lnkd.in/gFxiudB See more

Successfully demonstrated ground testing of air-breathing engine at Mach 3.22 at 30-km altitude with 0.808 MW of cooling in around 12 milliseconds. Proceeding with 60,000 lbf (267 kN) thrust class engines for testing of turbo-ramjet to Mach 4.8. Multi-fuel combustion using nanoparticles for cooling and thrust enhancements. #engines #engine #testing #cooling #enhancements #fuel #propulsion #combustion

The DASS Hypersonic Plane is a revolutionary vehicle for space and aerospace applications and it utilizes the DASS GNX propulsion system, which includes combined cycle air breathing engines, an air breathing multi-fuel scramjet, and a rocket engine. It is capable of achieving Single-Stage-To-Orbit and is completely reusable. The Aerospace version is capable of cruising at hypersonic speeds. It has horizontal launch capabilities, allowing it to take-off and land from conventional runways. http://www.spaceenginesystems.com/projects_propulsion.html
Space Engine Systems will be attending the Farnborough Airshow. Come check us out at Stand 4744 in Hall 4.
DASS Thermal system is a new patent pending (PCT) technology to replace SAGD, Cyclic Steam Injection at fraction of the cost. No water or cables or power required at site. Environmentally friendly and can deliver 1MW to 300MW power.
SES is excited to license patent pending DASS Thermal technology to the Oil and Gas industry for use in downhole heating at a fraction of the cost of existing SAGD technology. This spin-off product includes state-of-the-art heat exchanger, designed by SES, for heat distribution.
Space X Falcon 9 comparison with an SSTO using DASS GNX Air Breathing Engine for LEO, Lunar and Mars Missions. - 15 % increase in payload mass fraction to LEO - 23 % fuel reduction for equivalent LEO payload - 179 % increase in payload mass fraction for Lunar Mission... - 281 % increase in pay load mass fraction for Mars Mission See details: https://lnkd.in/eNkqpid
