Last week I was privileged to spend an evening with these Girl Guides helping them achieve their Fire Badges. Taught the science of fire, how to use a fire extinguisher (we practiced with water ones to make it easier), and showed them they too could have careers in the Fire Service. I expect to see most of these faces as Junior Firefighters in a few years! -Captain Charlotte Macfarlane

Another great practice last night for the Future Central Peace Fire Rescue. This time familiarizing ourselves with our new water tender, and drop tank techniques for rural firefighting. A great turnout from the SRFD, Rycroft FD, and MD 133 FD.
