It has come to our attention that there was a very late night update regarding new provincial health orders. Although confusing and frustrating we are looking into the matter and will update our families once we have further information from our regional health officer. In the meantime out of the abundance of caution we are going to move our classes to our ZOOM accounts effective immediately. All your class times and teachers will remain the same. We at STAGES value your understanding and support as we navigate this new update. Please refer to STAGES virtual Dance World face book page for your ZOOM codes. Hugs and love to all. Stay well.

Yes STAGES is OPEN with all protocols in place which have been given gold stars by VIHA. With new restrictions in place on the mainland due to an uptick of cases, under advisement of Dr. Stanwick, STAGES is asking that any of our students and families that have recently visited the mainland (particularly the Vancouver and coastal Health area) please refrain from attending classes in person classes. At this time we are asking you to attend your class(es) via zoom. Please contact STAGES for the studio zoom code and pass word. Another Festive, Halloween, October has come and gone! With ingenuity, rethinking the impossible and just and deep down belief that we can do this safely! STAGES Dance Company has been performing around our community. Performers, technicians and audience members in masks, everyone screened, temperature checked, dance numbers reimagined, re-spaced and socially distant, performance outside and our essence of being able to give back, perform and do what we love to do whi...ch is Dance. Leadership Victoria was the first with an incredibly well produced and edited video put together by Ria and Spartan Media. This was also used for juvenile diabetes research foundation fundraiser BELIEVE which is also apropos for this year. Raising over $720.000 for JDRF. Wicked Victoria - filming in The Galey Farms Haunted Village. 8 performances at The Galey Farms. Thank you to Rob Galey for working so hard to make this happen in the midst of a pandemic. Following and surpassing all BCCDC guidelines our kids were able to perform in front on a limited audience. We kept our numbers low, all screened , documented, a double barrier between audience and performers 4m wide and had a waiting list a yard long. Thank you Taylor Findlay from Tim Hortons fir providing snacks for our dance company members. Again everything had to be reimagined! My heart is full for the trust and faith you have instilled in me.
