LEST WE FOGET!! Remembrance Day 2020! Many have today off from work and school! Please take time to remember the reason you have today off. Take a few minutes reflect and give thanks. Send a message to a veteran or current serving member saying Thank you for your service. As i am a military spouse and mother, I have many friends and family that have served and are currently serving in the Canadian and American Service. I will be writing on their facebook walls today as my l...ittle part thanking them for their service. As my husband is preparing to deploy once again overseas it has me reflecting even more. There is some worry but not the worry that any of my great grandmothers had saying goodbye to their sons as they left to fight in the war. I have many, many grand uncles that fought in WWII. All returned home except one. So today i am sharing his war memorial page for you to learn about him. His sacrifice is not forgotten. Winter hours 8am to 6pm

Remembrance Day is coming up on November 11. Its a day to remember all those who have served and are currently serving in our Canadian Forces. Those who have made and continue to make Canada a sovereign country. Those members who have gone to war, participated in peace keep mission and those members who have also participated in diplomatic missions and while doing so have done such things as spending days off fixing orphanages in Russia or inviting the less fortunate children... of Shanghai to tour their ship. This is a very important day to The Farmer’s Daughter. I have a husband, children, cousins and many friends who are currently serving. I also have Father-in-laws, Grandfathers, cousins, Uncles, cousins and friends who have served and some were injured and some killed.
