The Prairie Girls Vintage Market is almost here!! As the weekend approaches we thought sharing a few tips and event details would be helpful. We are so excited and can't wait to have the barn filled with such a talented group of vendors, amazing finds and of course all of the treasure hunting shoppers! We hope to see you on September 6&7th!! Market Location: Cochrane Agricultural Society Barn Located at the North West corner of the junction of Hwy 1A and Hwy 22... Admission : $4.00 at the door (Children 12 & under free) $6.00 for both Friday & Saturday. Admission is cash only and exact change helps the line move faster ;) Parking is Free!!! Please keep in mind the market can be very busy first thing in the morning. Our parking attendants will be there to assist you in finding a parking spot as quickly as possible so you can get shopping! Atm: We will have an ATM on site. Some vendors do accept credit cards, however cash is always best! Food & Drink: We will have two Food Trucks with a variety of options onsite. The barn floor is covered in wood shavings so wear appropriate footwear. It can get crowded inside, so if you are bringing little ones, you may want to leave the strollers behind and strap them to you for hands free shopping! The market is busiest at the beginning, so if you prefer more casual shopping, you may want to come a couple hours after opening :) We will be handing out market maps at the front entrance so you can have a reference for all the vendors and where their booths are located. If you purchase a large piece of furniture or heavy items, we will have a pick up zone along the North side of the building. When you are done your shopping, you can move your vehicle into the upper parking lot along side the building to load your purchases.
