Those who prepaid for memberships in 2020 will not be affected until your contract ends. New policy effective in February 1st 2021. Now with winter season approaching and it being very wet outside, people are tracking in a lot of unnecessary dirt into gym. Please bring a clean pair of indoor shoes to change into when you arrive in gym. Also make sure you have proper gym shoes ! Sandals or barefeet are not acceptabable.

Must Read !!! Please screen yourself prior to attending our Academy for Covid-19 or any flu like symtoms. If not feeling well please be respectful, call and cancel your appointment. We want to ensure everyone in our Academy stays safe and healthy including our own family. Temperature checks will be done with an infrared touchless thermometer on your forehead above eyebrow. If this is an issue for you please bring your own thermometer and take your temperature infront of us.... Anyone that refuses or has fever will be denied access to the gym. Upon arrival you will need to sign in and sanitize hands, you will be given clean bucket for your outdoor shoes, gloves, handwraps and water bottle. When you move in gym, bucket will move with you ensuring social distancing and safety. Buckets are to be cleaned after use before you leave, as well as any equipment used and your personal belongings. All parents/friends/siblings or guardians are to wait outside building until pick up. Please do not enter gym, we need to limit unnecessary traffic flow. Feel free to watch through windows or doors. Children under 7 or persons with disability will be allowed 1 person or guardian to help sign in and help with equipment. Change rooms are temporary closed until further notice. Be ready in gym clothes to workout ! Please bring enough water for your entire workout, no longer aloud to use sinks to fill your water bottles. Sinks are now strictly for hand washing only. Bathroom is open, but we ask you to use bathroom prior to coming. Use for emergencies only please. Please be respectful of everyone's space including your coach. There is no contact or sparring. 8 cleaning stations are set up in the gym for easy access to ensure social distancing with cleaners, disinfectants, paper towel, garbage cans and hand santizer as well as two hand washing stations. Clean gym shoes are manditory for all members. No members are allowed to be barefoot, or in open toed shoes. We have right to refuse anyone who wishes not to follow any of these rules. We want to keep everyone safe including ourselves.

When should you replace your BAG OR TRAINING GLOVES Bag or Training Gloves should be replaced every 5-8 months depending on frequency of use. Once you notice that the padding is smashed or you can feel more impact on your knuckles, through the glove, you may want to replace them to prevent potential hand injuries.... MAINTENANCE TIPS: Do not use bag gloves and sparring gloves interchangeably. The harder surface of the bags you are hitting, breaks down the foam in sparring gloves more quickly. It also creates a rougher surface and potentially embeds small particles of material into the striking surface of the gloves that you are then hitting a sparring partner with. HAND WRAPS Wraps should be replaced every 4-5 months depending on frequency of use and how well you maintain them. If you let them dry-out thoroughly after each workout, wash them regularly (after every third session) and keep them free from snags and tears, you should able to get some life out of your wraps. MAINTENANCE TIPS: Do not roll wet hand wraps up and toss them in your gym bag. Let them dry completely before rolling them up for your next work out. Keeping them clean and replacing them more often will also, in turn, extend the life of you gloves. Having fresh and new wraps will help keep your gloves free from bacteria, potential mold and mildew. Rotating your hand wraps out more often will pay dividends in making your gloves last longer and remain free from odor.

Work on yourself everyday...little by little, chip away, until your true self is revealed....

Bootcamp members Last class is tomorrow sept 28th outdoors in collingwood. Then indoor bootcamp at the gym starts October 6th ... Tuesday 7-8pm Thursday 6-7pm Sign in sheet will be outside, please social distance and go one at a time. Clean pens will be provided and hand santizer. I ask everyone to come ready and dressed due to change rooms are still closed at this time. We will be doing cardio outside so please dress accordingly and bring a hoodie. Own gloves and wraps are manditory, there will be NO sharing allowed.

New policy We are officially tired of chasing people down for money owed or if they are continuing private lessons. If we text or call you and we don't get a response within 24 hours we will be moving down our wait list. If you want too continue your lessons into the following month please contact us before the 20th of every month. I'm sorry for any issues this may cause but we are trying to run a business, work full time and we have a family to provide for. Please be conside...rate that our time is just as important and yours.
