The strength of the Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers is rooted firmly in our people. Today, we proudly showcase Master Warrant Officer Mike Manny, currently ...serving as the Executive Assistant to the Command Chief Warrant Officer, Vice Chief of the Defence Staff. MWO Manny, a Regular Force musician by trade has been volunteering with various cadet squadrons for more than 16 years. This passion for our youth programs led to him taking a 4 year out of trade posting with Northwest Cadets as a Training Support Coordinator. Our now retired, Formation Chief Warrant Officer, Bill Crawford approached MWO Manny with a challenge - to compose a march for the Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers. As always, MWO Manny showed up and delivered an exceptional piece of music dedicated to CWO Crawford on the day of his retirement. The march is currently with the Directorate of History and Heritage, and in the process of being designated as the official march for the Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Formation. So, we are proud to present for the first time: The Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Formation March, "To Honour Those who Serve the Youth of Canada".
