The most heartfelt and genuine way is to simply say thank you. I merely represent an amazing group of women who have all given their time willingly to serve the Women That Hunt organizations mission and vision. As a volunteer it is d...ifficult to accept this type of acknowledgement as it is not something we look for or expect. This level of recognition is truly a gift. Kelly Countway- Provincial Volunteer Representative The Municipality of Colchester County. The Municipality of Colchester County would like to take this opportunity to thank Kelly Countway for her dedication to engaging youth of all ages to new activities related to the outdoors, conservation, fitness, art, and community programs, through the yearly successful Youth Expo.... As well as creating a mission to showcase women in the recreational hunting and fishing scene. She helped create the Women that Hunt Association where Kelly and her team continue to expose, educate, and inspire others to living a more self sustaining lifestyle. Kelly’s efforts and her consistent passion for growth make her an outstanding Colchester County Volunteer. Congratulations on this much deserved award.

Meet the 2020 Municipality of Colchester County, Provincial Volunteer Representative Kelly Countway. Throughout the week we will be posting more information on Kelly and highlighting her success in volunteering within her community. Kelly Countway had a vison to educate and inspire other women, youth and new hunter’s in general, into the hunting and fishing lifestyle. When presented the opportunity and resources, she helped form the successful Not for Profit group called the ...Women that Hunt, this leap of faith turned into a life changing passion. Becoming an active hunter at the age of 45, the Women that Hunt is where Kelly’s passion meets purpose. Kelly’s focus to educate youth came to fruition and today with 200 members strong she leads her team as an instructor in Non-restricted/restricted/Hunters Ed and Learn to Fish programs. Through fundraising efforts and programs Kelly and the Women that Hunt offer conservation bursaries to local High school students who exemplify the Women that Hunt vison. She has gone above and beyond in her local community hosting an annual Youth Expo, that’s influenced over thousands of kids and families. This event is designed to be interactive, and guided by professionals and experts in various fields to educate and inspire. All funds raised go back to the community and programming. Kelly’s efforts and her consistent passion for growth make her an outstanding Colchester County Volunteer. Congratulations on this much deserved award.
