1st Labrador Straits Guiding Unit

Tuesday May 23- Diversity Meeting @ 6:00 PM for all girls. Forteau Community Center

Due to the upcoming long weekend and graduation there will be no meeting tomorrow May 18th as many of our leaders will be unavailable, also weather conditions are not practical for a hike. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

The 1st Labrador Straits Guiding Unit are looking for volunteers and Leaders. Meetings are every Thursday night at 6:30. Did you know that as a volunteer your not required to be at each meeting? You could simply help out when you can with no obligations! Isn't that great? Also, we run with the school year so there are no obligations over the summer. ... This is such a great program for our girls and we hope to see growing community interest and support! Please call the number below and get started today.

Attached is the tentative schedule for the remainder of the year... May 11th- Regular Meeting with .5 hr extention. May 18th- Hike at LAL ski trail. Girls will meet at 6:30PM -8:00 PM. Please dress appropriately for weather conditions.... May 23rd- Diversity Meeting @ 6:00PM May 25th- Regular Meeting June 1st- Regular Meeting June 3rd- Campout. Dropoff 3PM Saturday Pickup 3PM Sunday June 4th. June 8th- Regular Meeting June 10th- Baking and Activity's at LSHC LTC @1:00PM June 15th- Last Meeting @6:30 Schedule is subject to change. Please see site for cancellations and changes to schedule. Enrollment Ceremony will be scheduled when all required items are received by our unit.

Tomorrow night's unit meeting will be 1.5 hours. 6:30-8:00.
