Video has never been more important for car dealers social and digital marketing efforts. The purpose of the video should be to get the consumer interested in coming in to test the vehicle not sell the vehicle, they have already decided what they want to buy they are looking for affirmation that they are making the right choice. You will notice in this video, it has a independent review style which is more authentic and believable to the consumer, we also talk about the negatives of a vehicle, don't avoid this, there is no perfect car, this creates credibility and trust with the consumer. For our friends in the auto industry we wanted to share our latest vehicle review process, we call it Tru Review. What we have noticed in our research is that car dealers are often creating content that is not answering or addressing information that the consumer is asking about. Creating content that has a 3rd party or independent review feel and style creates more trust with the viewer especially when you share the negative and positive aspects of each vehicle.... We have been creating content for the auto industry for well over 10 years and have created 1000’s and 1000’s of videos. We are always looking at our data to find what the public is wanting, when it comes to viewing patterns and we feel the Tru Review is bang on! Most dealership videos have a staff member or manager doing the content and what the data tells us is if there is no connection to the person in the video people stop watching early on. With the Tru Review style there is no risk of a viewer not liking the look, sound, style or appearance of the person in the video and because the info is presented in independent style there is a greater connection and trust built up with the viewer.
