Doing car sales differently: The average Canadian starts their vehicle search online. Once they've inquired about a vehicle of interest they are most often replied to by someone in the dealerships internet department. Once the internet department has booked the appointment, the customer is then transferred to a sales person. If the customer visits the dealership this is who they will meet with in order to do a trade appraisal if necessary, and then the test drive. Once t...he test drive is complete, they will discuss price, this is usually done with a Sales Manager. When price is agreed upon they are then introduced to a Finance Manager who will work on the financing and review products such as warranty and insurance. The average Canadian car shopper looking to finance a vehicle will need to speak with a minimum of 4 people in order to purchase the vehicle they found online. During this time there is no guarantee you will like or get along with all of these different people. From the customers I have worked with in the past, I have learned that this is the area that mostly effects customer satisfaction. Constantly having to repeat themselves to multiple people becomes frustrating. O'Brians has given me the opportunity to do things differently. With over 13 years in the auto industry I have worked every position you can imagine; a call center agent, a sales person, a sales manager, a finance manager and for the last 7 years as a General Sales Manager. I have all of the experience necessary to take my customers from a question about price all the way through to the financing paperwork. When you purchase a vehicle from me, I am there from the beginning all the way through your decision to buy or not to buy. If you decide to buy I am still your contact for any questions you have long after you've driven off the lot. The best advice I ever received in sales was to treat each of my clients as if they were my Grandmother and I have taken that to heart.
