Common HPBA theme. Is it the number of race days or the purse pools? We should evalute what is best for both the track opertor nd the horseman. I'm confused. I am not sure what the fight is about but at least we are not alone.
I have been silent since the stall list was reeased. Partly because I feel that this is far from over and partly hoping that I was wrong and training would begin.Even if it does we are still faced with the same problems.
Please read. He advocates exactly what I think is missing in Alberta. We have an opportunity to be a leader in North America, but it comes from working together.

A chasm that the HPHR will gleefully fill with her harness house league. This is not a time for thoroughbred people to be casting stones at each other, it’s a time to be gathering stones to cast at the real culprits: the HPHR and HRA.
March 1st is fast approaching and I believe that Northlands will stand their ground and not let the Thoroughbred's commence spring training.Should we consider the development of a contingency plan so that we can commence spring training in order to be prepared for the commencement of racing when the dispute is settled?
