Alberta Chess Association 24.11.2020

This coming Rememberance Day Wednesday, November 11th from 10 am the Calgary Junior Chess Centre will host a lecture by the highest rated player in Canada-Grandmaster Evgeni Bareev. Alberta Chess Association 20.11.2020

This coming Wednesday, August 5th, at 10 am, the Calgary Junior Chess Centre (CJCC) is organizing a lesson with Grandmaster Victor Mikhalevski. Victor is a 3 time Calgary International champion and a member of the Bronze medal winning chess olympiad team in 2010. He is also a famous chess coach with several Grandmaster students and an author of a couple of chess books. The lesson will be followed up by a tournament on lichess.org for the participants.
