"Riders that look way over and beyond the top rail of the jumps on their approach, sometimes 4-5 strides out. It is extremely difficult to find a correct take off spot, especially with less educated eyes, unless you focus on the top rail until the take off (when the jump disappears between the horse's ears), or perhaps a stride early if it were a bending line. If you look ahead at the take off, at the latest, you should not fear the dreaded habit of looking down." Congrats to Mrs. Megan Holm and her mare Amethyst on their successful day in all classes especially their 2nd place finish in the gymnastics phase of the SRC me...dal class! In addition to the 5th place in the hunter phase and their 3rd place win in their 1st 1.0m class ever! Paloma and Ashley Hong had fast rounds in their .85 jumper classes with a 2nd & 4th place finish! And to Mackenzie Carron and Eat My Shorts (aka Bart ) had awesome rounds in their hunter classes with a consistent 2nd place in all their classes! Duties include feeding, stalls, turn out/in, paddocks, light yard work (ie: raking, weeding, etc just keeping the property tidy) night check and some grooming. Full day 5/week and one half day. Live in newly renovated, open concept two bedroom suite above the barn plus above industry wages. Looking for a responsible experienced horse person who takes pride in their work and loves their horses. Experience in a show barn would be a plus. Dog ok but preferably no children. Lol.
