"I have been very impressed with how Altima Dental has handled the COVID-19 pandemic. There are many levels to consider: the team, the dentists, the patients an...d the dental profession overall. Most impressive is how the staff has been properly taken care of. We as a team would have very little to offer our patients if the staff was not handled in the empathetic manner that Altima took. Altima's handling of this HR challenge should be comforting to all team members and ensure their return. We expect our entire team back, as enthusiastic as possible in a few weeks. The plan that has been communicated to us via our Dental Centre Manager (Melissa) is encouraging. I feel the safest place that we can be is in our own office (after all, we are in control of everything regarding sterilization etc.). I understand that the "COVID BINDER" with our protocols is on it's way, what a comfort to know we have a system to refer to that ensures safety for all. If I was on my own, this would be a huge mountain to overcome (and may not have been possible to navigate through). The Altima Team has been proactive in the best manner possible. Their investment in the facility, our Team and our Patients will be evident once we are back to taking care of our patients. This "Mulligan" from Dental life has allowed me time to reflect and develop my skills so I can return is the best shape possible. The continued offering of CE courses from all involved has also helped tremendously.
