The final challenge of The Amazing Race Edmonton 2020 was delegated to Kaitlyn, our trophy keeper, and her production crew. They were tasked with surprising Kara and Max, this year’s winners, with the engraved hardware. Congratulations to all teams who participated in the 2020 virtual edition of The Amazing Race Edmonton! Kara and Max of #TeamFrenchies took first place for the second consecutive year! It was a digital dash as teams raced to the Finish Line at Lois Hole Centennial Provincial Park! Situated on the shores of Big Lake, this park is popular with bird watchers as two-hundred and twenty (220) bird species have been observed in the area. The news studios of CTV Edmonton was the last virtual destination of The Amazing Race Edmonton 2020. Did you know this was Alberta’s second television station and founded by Sunwapta Broadcasting Ltd. Sunwapta is the Stony Indian word for radiating waves, hence why a totem pole stands outside the studio today.
