The Blonde Stylist

Good Afternoon Everyone! I have a few things that I would like to share. First off, I want to thank you all for your support in the last two years with my homebase studio Lavish Hair. Because of all the support I have grown out of my home-based studio and with my children becoming older I have been able to start on my next chapter of my career.... I have partnered with another local stylist and we are excited to announce that we are opening our very first own studio. With the opening of this new studio we will be moving our location to Beaumont as of September 1. I know many of you have expressed how much you love coming to a home-based studio and I want to reassure you that this studio space you will be coming to in September will give you the same type of feel. As of right now there are only two chairs, and in the future we hope to expand and welcome more like-minded stylists to work with us. I have timed the travel from my place to our new place in Beaumont and it is exactly 15 minutes from my house and leaving from Leduc in a central area you’re looking at about 10 to 13 minutes. I can’t wait to share with you all our new adventures together. With the opening of a new studio comes a new name,a new rebrand,a new outlook at what we as a team will have to offer. I am excited to share with you the new name of our studio B&B Hair.co! The idea behind the name comes with my personal name change as a stylist, I will no longer be Lavish Hair Studio my independent name will be The. Blonde. Stylist! The idea behind our name B&B comes from Stephanie‘s independent salon name, The.Brunette. Hairstylist, which then gave us the idea of The.Blonde.Stylist which gives you our studio name B&B Hair.co We are excited to share our new studio with you in September so please stay tuned and watch for announcements for when we are officially moved in. Time for an honest post This color BEAUTIFUL, but not what my client sat in my chair and asked for. I did everything in my power to make her hair purple but the color just did not want to attach ... I even recoloured it after the first time and as the color hit her hair I was excited and I said to her WOW look how fast it’s taking that purple pigment now Then we washed it and it was gone again..... I felt defeated today and terrible that my client drove a distance to sit in my chair because she has seen my fashion shade colors , but I’m human and I can not always predict the outcome of what hair will do especially with new clients because I am learning your hair!! She was a champ , so polite and understanding. Listened to me talk about why I think it didn’t attach and how she can help fix that at home for her next color. Not once did she make me feel like a bad hairdresser or freak out on me and I can’t express this to you all enough on how important that is to us stylists. Sometimes hair just has a different plan and sometimes we can’t control that!
