I experienced dramatic changes in my life every 18 years. I entered my 4th 18-year cycle in 2016 when I was approached by SusanMason-Apps about her idea of compiling a book with stories on the theme of "Awakening". Susan and I had known each other for many years since our families were both in karate classes together years ago, I put my trust in Susan and became one of the co-authors in her new book. Other co-authors include Susan's daughter Sarah, and some of our mutual fri...ends and colleagues in Uxbridge, Kathy Normandeau and Susan Ward. I wrote the poem "Ripple" 18 years ago in 2001, and created a piano music piece for it at the same time. In the book "Awakenings", I revisited the spiritual experience that I had and dedicated my poem to all who are facing adversity and to all who have found their strength within. "When your why is big enough you will find your how." ~ Les Brown When I started to speak up, and express my desire to deliver high quality, accessible and affordable education to children around the world, I began to attract others who have the same vision.

My mission to raise my son Michael as a single parent was accomplished 3 years ago in 2018 when he built a successful online business and found his partner Laura. I am a proud mama of this young man who has clear vision of what he wants in life It takes a village to raise a child. I am sharing with you this video presentation which I prepared in 2012 to thank everyone who had been a part of our journey, prior to Michael venturing into university life at McGill in Mo...ntreal. The song "To My Child" played in the background of the video was composed by me on Thanks Giving Day in October 2005. The song was being performed on stage by all the women in the live stage show called The M.O.M. Project, Musings on Motherhood the following year.. It was a challenge to raise my son as a single parent, but I am grateful for being surrounded by people who were supportive of our journey. Find your community, find your tribe!
