Monitoring messages from DriveBC 1/2 We are aware that the flooding event that has #BCHwy1 closed west of #Revelstoke is affecting a lot of motorists. We do wish we could provide an exact timeline as to when the highway will reopen but the hardworking crews are up against the dynamic forces of nature.

Highway 1, in both directions. Flooding between Woods OH Bridge and Summit Lake OH Bridge for 4.3 km (15 to 10 km west of Revelstoke). The road is closed. Estimated time of opening not available. Detour not available. Work in progress. Probability of opening tonight is low. Next update time Thu Jul 2 at 9:00 PM PDT. Last updated Thu Jul 2 at 6:55 PM PDT.
