A surprise birthday gift today! In 2011 Dave and I went to the Philippines, where I was born and lived a good portion of my life .... this trip was an annivers...ary gift from our children! It was such a wonderful time and meeting friends from long ago was fantastic! Glad we can keep in touch with Facebook! While there, we were at the market and I found (bought!) these lovely unframed paintings (oil) of sunsets and nipa huts, palm trees and water buffalo (carabao). They have been waiting to be framed (for 10 years!) and Dave surprised me today by driving to Artsie Custom Framing (Dale's store - https://bit.ly/3xnQmMy ), and picking up the fully framed pictures. They are beautifully framed and such an expression of Dave's love and the wonderful memories we have of this time in the Philippines. Thank you, Dave and thank you, Dale.
