Atomic Park

An extra bloody scene in Divine Enmity called for some some serious gore, and because we didn't end up shooting it during production, we had to use CGI. One problem - initial cost estimates ran upwards of $10 000. Considering our original budget was no more than $30 000 for the entire film, a creative solution had to be devised because no one wanted to, or better yet, had that kind of money to spend on a 7 second clip. The only way around this problem was to shoot a plate shot and superimpose it into the film. Considering how much money making Meatface saved us, we're more than glad that we got our hands dirty. Meatface was born on a cold Saturday afternoon this past January. He then died the very same day. To understand his great sacrifice and how he contributed to the film - make sure to watch it.
