BREAD MAKERS REQUESTED We are looking for a bread baker to join the Farmer's & Craft Market, located at 120 E Mclean Blvd, in Maitland (MERC) every Saturday from 9am to 1pm until Dec 19th, 2020. BOOK SALE The Augusta Township Public Library will be having a fundraising book sale from Wednesday, October 28th Saturday, November 14th. During regular hours over this time period we will be letting patrons browse through a selection of donated books for sale in our meeting room. Masks and physical distancing will be required and hand sanitizer will be available.
REC CENTRES REOPENING WITH NEW PROTOCOLS We are happy to announce that Augusta recreation centres (Maitland, Maynard, North Augusta & Roebuck) are now open again for bookings. Staffed events are subject to capacity limits established by the Municipal Emergency Control Group (MECG). NOTICE Usually when an oversize load is to travel on one of the Township's roads, the Public Works Department is notified. On OCTOBER 27, 28 & 30th, such a load (carrying a wind tower) will be travelling through the area - taking County Road 18 to Cedar Grove Road. They will be travelling through around 3 pm each day and will have escort vehicles with them as a safety precaution.... Please plan your route accordingly.

**UPDATE** HE IS HOME SAFE MISSING CAT We received a call from a resident whose cat went missing around the McIntosh Road area today (October 22). If anyone sees it, could you please contact Carol at 905-808-8678 or contact the Township Office. He has a little less hair now and his name is Jackson. Let's help this kitty get home!
