Roundworms, tapeworms, hookworms and whipworms. These parasites aren’t just a problem for puppies it’s important to protect adult dogs, too. Remember to get r...egular checkups for your dog and deworming throughout their lifetime. Preventative treatment options are a big help for putting your mind at ease too, so talk to your veterinarian. See more

COVID-19 update, Aurora Veterinary Clinic Ltd. is still open to provide continued medical services to your beloved pet(s). This includes our regular services, including anal gland expressions, nail trims and soft paw application. We will continue to post updates of any further changes as we collect information from the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association. Protecting your health and the health of our staff is also a top priority. We have implemented protocols that we ask o...ur clients to respectively follow. Here is what we are doing to further protect ourselves and clients: 1) We ask all clients to please inform us if you have recently traveled internationally and/or if you have current respiratory symptoms associated with COVID-19. If so, we ask you to reschedule your appointment if possible. 2) When you arrive to the clinic please call from the parking lot to let us know you have arrived for your appointment, prescription, or food pick ups. If possible, we ask you to remain in your vehicle or outside on the greenspace until one of our receptionist contacts you. 3) For appointments, we ask that you bring a mask to wear in the examination room, as it is hard to keep a safe distance while examining your pet. 4) We have hand sanitizer, gloves, and masks available for our clients if needed. 5) If possible, please refrain from bringing other family members into the clinic. This is to help reduce overcrowding in the waiting area/exam rooms. Remember to be respectful to others around you and keep a safe distance. 6) We are disinfecting debit machines, counter tops, floors, seats and door handles in between client visits. 7) Exam rooms will also be disinfected in between each appointment. 8) We will continue our usual cleaning and diligent disinfecting protocols in our hospitalization treatment areas. Due to the rapid changes impacted by COVID-19, we appreciate everyone's patience during this difficult time.
