Do you howl at the moon? Tonight is the first of TWO full moons this month - something that is pretty rare! Tonight's moon is the Harvest Moon and the second, which will rise on Halloween Night, is the Blue Moon. (Yes, as in "once in a blue moon"!) Full moons are a special time. ... The night is brighter, even when it's cloudy, and the energy is HIGH. It is a great time to take stock of all that you have achieved (your proverbial harvest) and to release anything that hasn't been working or that just doesn't feel right. Some Harvest Moon ideas for you as a small business owner include: Do an audit of your social accounts, newsletter subscriptions, and website stats. Use that info to make some changes this season! S.O.S. I am still trying to find my way with podcast listening! My struggle is that I cannot listen to people speak (especially about things I am SUPER interested in) and also work on other tasks. I have to have a pen and paper at the ready, maybe a highlighter and some sticky notes, too! I'm back!!! After a long week and a bit my hubby is back and I have the WHOLE day to get caught up on work and make lists to my heart's content. Yesterday was #nationaldaughtersday and we were too busy finishing up our week for me to remember to post anything. I have one daughter - my heart walking outside my body She is funny, smart, caring, creative, whimsical, gentle, bold, loving, thoughtful, witchy and generally a pretty sweet kid. She is the perfect blend of @jon.the.poet and I and we couldn't love her anymore than we do!

Happy September 1st!!! September feels BIG this year and I'm getting curious/nervous about working school back into the delicately balanced life we've cobbled together the past six months. That being said, September is also a time for fresh starts, apple video, Halloween movies, crafting, tea, candles, sweaters, and preparing for the long dark days ahead (which I LOVE).... How do you know that fall is rolling in soon? It's harvest time!
