Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong".... *REFLECTIONS* In order to grow from infant Christian's to mature Christians, we must learn discernment. We must train our conscience, our senses, our mind, and our body to distinguish good from evil. *PRAYER* Lord Jesus grant me a discerning spirit to distinguish good from evil. See more

*HEPHZIBAH DAILY GUIDE* JAMES 3: 9-12 "Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God. And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right! Does a spring of water bubble out with both fresh water and bitter water? Does a fig tree produce olives, or a grapevine produce figs? No, and you can’t draw fresh water from a salty spring. *REFLECTIONS* At times... our words are right and pleasing to God, but at other times they are violent and destructive. God works to change us from the inside out. When the Holy Spirit purifies a heart, he gives self-control so that the person will speak words that please God. *PRAYER* Lord Jesus create and purify my heart and renew the right spirit within me. Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. James 1: 27

Salvation does not depend on good deeds, but it results in good deeds. A person who claims to be saved while remaining unchanged does not understand faith or what Go...d has done for him or her. *Prayer* Lord Jesus help me to bear fruits that befit my salvation.
