Residents 67 years old or older can now book their COVID-19 vaccine appointment effective at noon today!

Please note the following eligibility change starting Saturday March 13 at 8am. Those who are 76 years and older can now book appointments for the COVID vaccination.

People 85 years and older can book appointments to receive the COVID-19 vaccine from public health starting Thursday March 11 at 8:00am. Appointments can be booked online or by telephone.

Due to the continuing power outage in Balcarres, we will be closing the store at 4:00 if the power continues to be off. We will continue to be available for medication related emergencies until 4:00. If the power comes on before 4:00, we will stay open until 6:00. Thank you for your understanding.

We would like to remind everyone that our hours have temporarily been reduced to 9am-5pm. Monday-Saturday. We will be CLOSED on Friday April 10, open on Saturday April and Monday April 13. We are asking all of our customers to limit their exposure to the COVID-19 virus by not coming into the store unless absolutely necessary. ... Call 334-2650 to order front store items or 334-2424 for prescriptions ahead of time. We can then arrange for a contactless method of payment (credit or debit card) and delivery or curb side service. We are sorry to say that the customer appreciation event scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled. This is mainly due to the many supply issues we are experiencing due to Covid-19. Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this change.

Please note, we are temporarily changing our store hours and staffing starting Monday March 30. We will be open from 900am-5:00pm, Monday to Saturday. For the protection of our staff and customers, we will be operating with two isolated teams of staff until further notice. Because of these reduced staff levels, we are asking you to allow us more time to fill your prescription. If possible allow us at least 24 hours for refill prescriptions. We will always endeavour to fill ...new medications for acute medications as soon as possible. Please be patient with us as due to reduced staffing and increased workload it may take longer to fill your prescription. For prescriptions or front store purchases please call ahead, give us your order, and make contactless payment arrangements. We can provide curb side service or free delivery.
