Congratulations raffle winners! We held a raffle to show our gratitude to those who participated in our Walk With Us Christmas Campaign through online donation. The Johnston family holds its annual family bowling tournament during Christmas time. This year however, since the family was not able to get together (photo taken last year), they decided to use their bowling fund as a generous gift to support the Back Door Mission. We thank Donna Arnold and the Johnston family for participating in the work that we do here at the Back Door Mission. Thank you for Walking With Us!

Thank you to everyone at the Whitby Sunrise Rotary Club, as they generously donated much needed winter clothing and non-perishable food for our pantry. On top of that, they served a wonderful pasta meal from Antonio's Italian Deli and Groceries on December 23th. We thank the Rotary Club for their support and for Walking With Us at Back Door Mission for the Relief of Poverty.

Feed The Need In Durham provides the Back Door Mission with fresh, frozen and non-perishable food items. This support allows us to serve over 200 meals everyday. Last month, they connected the Mission to the Egg Farmers of Ontario and Dairy Farmers of Ontario for the sponsorship of a brand new commercial-sized fridge. Feed The Need in Durham, thank you for supporting our mission of alleviating food insecurity in our community. Thank you for Walking With Us!

Thank you to both Spectra and the City of Oshawa for your support and for walking with us here at the Back Door Mission.
