When you’re recording a song, you start with the drums. Elio recorded the bed tracks as Chris engineered and acted as cameraman for Other Side a song we’re excited to bring you soon. We say this about all of them but we really love this one.

We are thoroughly enjoying the beautiful sounds The Jazz Connection Big Band is making tonight at Corktown Pub. A free series courtesy of the City of Hamilton is music to our ears!

Our home-grown music scene is thriving and diverse! Tobi and Naya Ali were two winners of the recent inaugural’s SiriusXM Black Canadian Music Awards. You may have heard Ruth B’s Lost Boy but her song If I Have A Son was a powerful message written in the aftermath of the George Floyd murder. Haviah Mighty won the Polaris prize in 2019 and her lyrical wordplay is fantastic. Daniel Caesar’s Get You is a song that should be on everyone’s Valentine’s Day playlist.

We’re halfway through the week! Here’s a joke so bad it’s almost good. What’s your favourite bad joke?

Chris told us to call this video Polishing A Turd so we did...but it’s a story about the guitar he used in the Coming Home video, not tales of poo.
