This week and next for our Sunday Species Spotlight, we will be featuring some birds that choose to stay in Ontario and brave the cold with us over the winter months. Next week (February 12-15) is the Great Backyard Bird Count where people all over the world will step outside and count all the birds they see. Anyone c...an join and you can do it from your own backyard! You can go out for as little as 15 minutes and use a free app to mark down what you saw. It's a great way to spend some time outdoors, learn about the birds in your area, and get into some citizen science!
