The Shubenacadie River is frequented by bald eagles this time of year when food is plentiful. Striped bass, gaspereau, and shad are heading up to spawn in the fresh water, some even get stuck on the sand bars which makes it very easy picking for these bids of prey. These guys can tell you all about the tides, give you some info on what's going on locally, and our favourite, Tidal Bore rafting .
