Step right up... Guavatron 2000 Philly Sour For this brew we used something totally brand new to us. In place of the usual kettle souring method, which uses bacteria to quickly produce its sourness, we used a Philly Sour yeast which produces lactic acid as part of the fermentation process. This means zero bacteria involved, resulting in a cleaner finish. The aroma is an all out assault of tropical fruit. Freshly cut pineapple, tangelo and peach. Thirst quenching and satisfyin...g. Great body. Loads of orange juice, lime zest and mango nectar and some grapefruit vibes. Guava purée & Galaxy hops.
