Very interesting interview with Forest Minister Conroy on CBC. BCFA Director Carl Sweet mentioned at 6:21 mark and again at 7:46 where he clearly lays out the 'ask' of BCFA for a working forest designation. Minister tries to answer his request at 8:48. Minister says she will continue to work with the Forest Alliance which is a huge positive. BCFA is really on her radar now. At 9:32 Minister says BCFA has "made it pretty clear" how we want forests managed. Possibly referring ...to our letter campaign and the letters government has received so far.
