I had this perfect little peanut in the studio this morning. His mama said he’s a chill little guy and goodness was she right! He rocked his session!

Somebody is turning 1 soon! Day 1 of our annual Santa Experience wrapped up yesterday and it was a huge success! Get ready for lots of adorable holiday spam!

Miss Hannah completely rocked her sitter session today! We got everything from huge smiles to this sweet, soulful look. Sitter sessions have become so popular during COVID for all those COVID babies who missed being photographed as newborns. If you didn't know, sitter sessions are for babies 6-9 months who are sitting completely unassisted. They are much like newborn sessions in that they are fully designed with studio props and outfits - only now your little one is sitting up, smiling and showing off! The outfit Hannah is wearing is just one of the many choices we have in our studio wardrobe and is from the talented Mia Joy

I can't dive into December 2018 reminiscing without sharing an image to these two. Ava & Noah - gorgeous twins with gorgeous names I cannot believe they are already over a year old. Oh - and in case you're like me and never have any idea what day it is anymore - today is Friday! Have a great weekend everyone!

Although done at the end of 2018 and not in 2019 I couldn't not share this adorable duo. Big brother was so engaged and interested in baby Ryan - for about 1 minute. ~ The secret to working with toddlers is to get in, get the shots and get out, and do it fast because they will be done with you before you are done with them ~ This whole collage of cuteness was captured in about 120 seconds!

With the studio closed I'm running out of adorable babies, gorgeous mamas and awesome families to share with you so I thought for the next couple weeks I'd reminisce on some of my favourite images from 2019! So that we may spend time with ours. So that we can live. Without them, where would we be?? This is a scary time of uncertainty for all. We are all struggling together. We are all fearful together. Our financial future is on your mind and on mine. How do we repay and thank all these brave souls for everything they are doing? I am offering ONE-FOR-ONE GRATITUDE SESSIONS local family sessions. If you have been appreciating your family like I have, especially lately, and feel that you are able to invest in a family photo session at this time, please do! These sessions will take place once the social and physical distancing has been lifted and normal life resumes. I love going back through sessions from past years and reminiscing about all the amazing families I've had the honour of documenting

Hi everyone, I hope you are all staying safe and healthy at home with your families. Thank you to those of you who are still required to risk yours and your family's health by going in to work on the front lines still every day. You are so valuable <3 In these unprecedented times I'm hearing from so many expecting and new parents who are filled with sadness over the possibility of having to have their newborn session canceled or rescheduled. ... I wanted to show you this collage of images - why? Because all the babies in this collage were between 3-7(!) weeks at the time of their sessions! I know parents hear from various sources that newborn sessions aren't possible past the 1-2 week mark. And I want to provide all you new and expecting parents out there with some hope in such a difficult time. If you had put off booking a newborn session and your little one is already reaching that 7-8 week mark now - I can still help you too! In the coming days I plan to offer a series of short video tutorials with tips on how to safely capture some precious images of your little one(s) yourself at home. I will also be publishing a special blog post by Thursday with some tips on creating some imagery for yourself at home. I won't let you go without. I will help you. I will absolutely not turn down an older newborn. I am here for you. We will get through this together <3

Important Notice: COVID-19 Precautionary Studio Closure Due to the severity of the current pandemic and the continued pressure from Public Health to practice social distancing I have had to make the difficult but necessary decision to postpone all sessions for at least the next two weeks. I completely understand the disappointment this may cause and I sincerely apologize that it has needed to come to this. I will be reaching out to all clients with scheduled sessions individu...ally. If you have any concerns or questions about what this will mean for you please do not hesitate to reach out and I will work with you to make a plan that is safest for everyone. I've been super quiet on here for a few weeks. Some big and exciting changes are coming up and the silence has partly been to prepare for those changes! I promise to get back to posting all sorts of pretties on a regular basis soon! Oh! And Facebook has decided to stop sending me notifications when I receive a message here on my Facebook business page. So if you've messaged and you get a slower than normal response, I promise I'm not ignoring you.

Some people worry that studio family sessions will seem too "pose-y" and staged. This incredibly sweet family shows that studio portraits can be candid and full of emotion. Baby girl was in need of some cuddles near the end of the session and we used that as an opportunity to capture this special moment
