Transport Genie is a Canadian-based technology company that provides advance precision monitoring solutions. Our smart sensors provide real-time data on the condition livestock are in when they are being transported, such as temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, and ammonia levels. The event-drive...n data that is captured enables smart decisions regarding livestock welfare during transportation. What has been the biggest challenge you have faced? We are extremely proud to be a Canadian based company. Keeping all of our manufacturing and hiring processes within Canada has brought some challenges. Nonetheless, challenging ourselves to source talent within Canada has allowed us to discover new ways to market our product and services. What does the future entail for Transport Genie? We hope to bring our smart sensors to other sectors within the transportation industry to ensure businesses always have the options to make smart supply chain decisions. The COVID-19 vaccine is a perfect example of how a company’s supply chain processes could benefit from our technologies. With our smart sensors, we could provide stakeholders with the data they need to monitor a product’s microclimate environment to ensure a stress-free transportation event.
